I decided to put together this web site for older individuals that would like to learn about graphics, but were afraid they would be too old to learn. Maybe it will be too hard. It's been a long time since I was in school. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Do any of these statements sound familiar to you?
I'm a fifty-year-old disabled woman with a strong will or others would call it a hard head. To be honest, they both apply to me. I'm just starting to learn how to make my own graphics. I will be uploading them onto this page so you'll be able to witness my progress. I'm doing this because I believe that you keep learning until the day you die. It is my contention that this web site will inspire someone else whom is afraid to take that chance because he/she thinks that they will fail. I believe that if you want it bad enough, you'll keep studying until you get it.
I started college back in 1973. Because of the circumstances in my life, I had to keep withdrawing for one reason or another. Mainly health issues. Like I stated earlier, I have a hard head and no one is going to tell me I can't do it! I find that too many individuals like to use this answer as an excuse, which is the easy way out, if you ask me! I say, "I can achieve it" not "I going to fail."
I can see this is turning into a novel, which is not my intention. I just wanted to let everyone out there know that you can achieve some of your dreams if you're willing to put the work into it. I am returning back to college, again, this will be I think my ninth try. Hopefully, I'll stay healthy enough to finish the next coming semester. Like they say, "keep on trucking." That's exactly what I plan on doing!
